Lamar Ellis, MAI, SRA, is a real estate expert with over 30 years of valuation experience. He has written seminars on drone technology and its impact on real estate since 2014 and presented in 31 States. Lamar is an FAA Certified Part 107 Remote Pilot and president of Drone Education Services, LLC. He currently serves as Treasurer for the Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Unmanned Aerial Systems International and participates in UAS working groups. He is a recognized expert on drone technology and its impact on real estate. He has spoken at the National Conferences of the Appraisal Institute, the American Society of Appraisers and the National Association of Realtors.

Continuing Education & Attendance Policy

“Aerial Inspections for Real Estate” is approved for three (3) hours of continuing education by the Appraisal Institute and the Washington State DOL, Course # A21201976 and the Oregon ACLB, Course #AISC-C-0721-1852.  100% attendance is required for credit and will be verified throughout the webinar. The student’s webcam must be visible on the Zoom platform during the entirety of class time. It is the student’s responsibility to verify their state(s)’ approval of this live stream virtual method of delivery (if the license is outside of Washington or Oregon).

Required Equipment: 

Internet Access, Computer with Webcam/Camera, Microphone and Speakers. Joining the offering with a cell phone is not recommended as these devices often lead to connection problems. Cell phones are better utilized solely as a secondary device.

Important: Please note that not all states have approved Virtual education; therefore, registrants MUST CHECK their individual states for approval BEFORE registering for the program. Before registering for the program, registrants understand and agree that continuing education credit for this program MAY NOT be available in their state on the date of the program.
